Toddler Crafts

LOVE Cards

I love doing crafts with Tyler especially when we can make something to give to family and friends. These “LOVE” cards are great for any occasion! This was a two person job since Tyler is only 14 months. If your child is old enough to follow directions then you should be able to do it by yourself. All you need is paper, non-toxic finger paint, markers, and a paper plate! Squeeze non-toxic paint onto paper plate, we did the hand print first- Bryan held Tyler while I rubbed his hand in the paint and then pressed it on the sheet of paper. To avoid smearing the wet paint we let the hand print dry before doing the foot prints. Bryan held Tyler while I helped Tyler smear the paint on his feet and then I held his feet in a “V” and pressed them on the paper. Once all the paint was dry I added the “L” and “E” along with the other writing! We made these and gave them to all of the Grandmas in our family for Mother’s Day and of course I had to make one for myself too!
